Our Approach

Our Story

Animals have always been a part of Nicole’s life and since her university days in Guelph, she quickly fell in love with My Kitty Café. Within months of moving to Hamilton, she became passionate about the city and what it has to offer. So when Nicole realized there was no cat café, she began to work away on this concept.

January 2018 was when the wheels began to turn and ever since, it has been a roller coaster of a ride. The Hamilton community has been beyond supportive and helpful in every which way and Cats & Caffeine will work hard to be constantly supporting and giving back to the city.

Meet the Team

These are the people that make the cats so happy and the cafe run so smoothly. Read about their story and what brought them to Cats & Caffeine.

Nicole has worked several years in the hospitality industry in positions from serving to general managing. She has studied Animal Science at the University of Guelph, and has numerous years of experiences in the animal science field, from wild life care attendant, dog show trainer, vet assistant, to even assisting in animal behaviour studies. Her first company (Out Of This World Events) demonstrates her values of community involvement and volunteerism and Nicole will be doing the same with Cats & Caffeine.
